Every award I’ve received tells a story — not just of a competition, but of countless hours of passion, creativity, and perseverance. These milestones are a glimpse into the heart and soul behind NikooCake.
In 2014, I had the honor of competing among some of California’s most talented cake artists at the culinary art schools’ cake decorating competition. The theme was Cinco de Mayo — colorful, lively, and full of life — and it pushed me to create designs that celebrated culture through sugar and creativity. It was an unforgettable experience that deepened my love for storytelling through cakes.
That same year, my passion for creativity expanded beyond the kitchen. As a finalist in the Orange County Social Entrepreneurship Competition, I shared ideas that combined culinary art with community impact. It was a moment that reminded me why I do what I do: to bring joy and meaning to people’s lives.
Winning first place in a prestigious cake and pastry competition in Tehran remains one of my proudest moments. It was the beginning of a dream that would one day lead me to create NikooCake — a dream built on the belief that artistry, flavor, and heart can come together beautifully.
